Corporate Services Department
Industrial Relations Division is primarily responsible to ensure efficient and effective industrial relations services, thereby promoting and improving labour relations. It is further tasked to pro-actively monitor and foster excellent industrial relations services, employee relations and interaction with the recognised Union. The Division advises the company and employees on procedural and substantive fairness in terms of industrial relations policy and procedures. The division is headed by the acting Manager: Industrial Relations, (Vacant)
Human Resources Development Division has two major functions, namely:
- Training and Development of NamWater employees
- Management of the NamWater Human Resources Development Centre (HRDC)
The Training and Development functions involve the implementation of the HR Development Policy & Strategic HR Development Plan, Management of the Training & Development functions, Bursary and Apprenticeship Scheme, Employee Development Scheme, and Succession Planning & Talent Management.
Management of the HRDC involves the provision of technical vocational training and any other training taking place at the Centre, management of the accommodation facilities as well as management of outsourced services at the HRDC. The Division is headed by a Manager: Human Resource Development, Mr. Cliff Olivier.
Organisational Development is responsible for job evaluation & structuring services, job design, job descriptions, remuneration, survey services & recommendations, implementation of approved remuneration increases, workload analysis, efficiency analysis and job analysis. The division is also responsible for the development and implementation of human resource systems. The Division is headed by the Manager: Organisational Development, Mr. John Ikela
