  • Purpose: For domestic water supply to Gobabis
  • Capacity: 1.224 Mm3 (millions of cubic metres)
  • Surface Area: 0.189 km2 (square kilometres) when full
  • Constructed: 1958
  • Annual Precipitation: mean of 396 mm
  • Located: approx. on the western perimeter of the municipal Area of Gobabis
