It is the policy of NamWater to ensure the health, safety and welfare of all its employees at work, as well as the legitimate visitors to our premises and contractors doing work for NamWater.
NamWater considers that good health and safety practices are fundamental prerequisite if NamWater's aim of supplying quality water to its clients is to be effectively realised.
The Health and Safety Division, in conjunction with the General manager- Corporate Services has identified the need for an in-house HIV-programme, which focuses on the following:
• Awareness
• Training of peer educators and Counsellors
• Provision of ART
• Home base care
