Water Supply Department
The Water Supply Department is responsible for monitoring the quality of water and in so doing ensures that the standard of potable water supplied is maintained.
The Department is headed by the General Manager Water Supply, Mr. Luther Jozikee Rukira, and consists of three regional divisions:
- Northern Region,
- Central Region and
- Southern Region
The Northern Region is sub-divided in two areas with Area Managers stationed at Oshakati and Rundu. The Division is headed by the Senior Manager: Water Supply North, Mr. Zahua Tjiyahura.
The Central Region is sub-divided in two areas with Area Managers stationed at Okahandja and Otjiwarongo. The Division is headed by the Senior Manager: Water Supply Central, Mr. Sebastian Husselmann.
The Southern Region is sub-divided in two areas with Area Managers stationed at Swakopmund and Keetmanshoop. The Division is headed by the Senior Manager: Water Supply South, Mr. Koenie Koegelenberg.
