Purpose of use

Transfer of raw water from Swakoppoort to Von Bach Dam with reverse gravity flow option from Von Bach Dam to Swakoppoort Dam.

Brief description of system

Raw water is pumped from the Swakoppoort Dam to the Von Bach Dam by means of a 600 mm diameter, 54 km long steel pipeline and three pump stations.
